Today I’m going to share another blast from the past with you. This time it is for my most favorite bread in the whole world! Enjoy!!
Exciting news for Life, Lightly Salted…we now have several guest bloggers lined up for your enjoyment. You will meet them all starting next week.
I have two music writers that have offered their talents. One is a local Jersey boy …the other my ex-husband (gasp!!) Then two of my best blogging buddies, affectionately called “my girls”, have offered to guest post with us once a month. Last, but not least is another Jersey local who will be dropping in with book reviews from time to time. It’s all pretty exciting!
Enjoy today’s retro post…I’ll be back next week with new creations for you!

Hi,
I made the bread yesterday, but was not sure how long it was supposed to rise? I know it said after forming into a loaf let it rise for an hour. How about when it is sitting and doubling. How long should that take? I winged it and it came out fine, but would like to know for sure so when I comment about it on my blog. Also, the recipe seems to have vanished. Oh, I need it back because the bread is soooooooooo good!
Kat, I’ll just send you a hard copy of the recipe. There really is no time set for the second rising. I just kind of let it go until it looks right. Some times it is a half hour, sometimes an hour. Really depends on the weather (humidity) that day.
